It will be interesting to see how close the guess average comes to the realized amount. It could be like a semi-scientific test of the group accuracy potential of CCF.
I thought the same thing. It is amazing how close the average came out.
Must be a useful tool in pricing.
I didn't figure in the last two guesses working out the average but it would have made the total a bit higher anyway.
I think the average is right on or a couple hundred bucks over.

Congrats dude, I'm very glad to hear you're happy with the sale and results. I'm sure deep down it was a bit of a roller coaster.
It was stressful and a roller coaster alright. I woke up with a light migraine this morning. I am not surprised. It wasn't the money I was worried about at all, ( Not that I don't like money ). My fear was that all would have been for nothing, embarrassing and the venture would have been a bad idea and a lot of work for everyone.
I don't think my auctioneer is real happy. There were only maybe 35 or 40 people in the building tops. It rained most of the morning which was a plus because there were tons of yard sales. Maybe a few spectators strolled in for something to do on a Saturday morning. One guy even rolled in on a wheelchair.
If it weren't for a couple few serious bidders, I would have lost my shirt.
Another factor is, looking at the leftovers here, I estimate had they sold at a bargain, but an acceptable amount, I would have added another $1500.
We'll just have to wait a bit and see what the net amount is.
The mess on the table I reorganized last night from the cases.

Lots of mint sets, Canada and US.

Lots of Proof sets, including Prestiege, Premier and Silver on the right half and 5 or so commemorative dollar sets.

These don't count in the leftovers. I didn't bring these nickels home with the auction stuff. They have been on my table for weeks, ( wife loves that ) I was picking out some of the prizes out of here.

I was surprised that it added up when he printed this out for me before I left.
