I'd like to know what this is. This is a no date penny and it's shaped like a bowl. I don't know what it is. I've been learning about various errors and I still have trouble at times but, idk what the heck is the deal with this coin. Any ideas?

I think it was dragged on the sidewalk, which scraped off much of the copper and revealed the zinc core. It looks like it was bent in the process.

I don't see the larger gouges associated with a pavement coin. My guess is it was hammer on the reverse, then hit with a sanding belt or orbital sander. Note how they got to the edges of the coin too? Sidewalk won't do that!

Based on the coin curving out, I think someone pounded it with hammer.
