Today went to a coin show so not much time to detect. Stopped at an elementary school on the way back into town to see what was to be had.

Now have both detectors fully paid for in Clad. Starting a kitty for upgrades hopefully it will take less than a year to get to the $700 mark so I can get a new machine for Christmas.

Well congrats it's official. What detector are you looking at? I've been looking and I really like the minelabs explorer se. Hefty price though. But I still have plenty of time to decide. Many of them out there.

We use Fisher at work for underwater work but I am a Garrett person I will try out the GTI series and see which I like best. Off to turn in the clad to the bank today and take the Scrap gold to the exchange to see how may ounces of silver they will give me for it. It will be a shame to reduce my treasure pile but it does not do me much good just sitting there looking pretty.. I have photos of everything anyway.

Got $176.80 for my scrap gold that my nice Ace 250 found. Added a few dollars and walked out of Houston numismatic Exchange with a nice 10oz silver bar to put in the detector finds Tin. That with the $206 cash that we exchanged today from found Quarters and Nickels Brings todays total to $382.80 Now have plenty of room in the tin to fill it up again with clad. Still have over $20 face of Cents to sort and roll along with around $70 in Dimes.

That's a nice little reward. Looks like you just might get your Christmas present. I gotta get back out and hit some places. The rain has dampened my looking lately.
