This is more of a medal than a coin, although it was made on a coin press À la Dan Carr;   (not bad for a smart phone image)

here something very different, I hope it qualifies: a fire gilded (vermeil) taler from Salentin of Isenburg, Bisshop of Cologne, 1568 still in a pendant ; the silver gilded ring plate around the coin has an inscription: likely the initials of the first owner the core (about 29 grams is sterling silver) ; a ± 20-30 micron layer of gold adds about 1,5 grams to this piece; so in a sense it is bi-metallic
