I just bought 4 silver proofs a bit ago, but right now I have no intention of completing a set. I like the quarters with 4 legged animals on them. I got the Denali goat, Yellowstone Bison, Glacier Mtn Goat, and Olympic Stag. These will go along with a Silver proof Nevada wild horse and North Dakota State Bison. Might get Alaska with the bear and Kansas for another Bison in silver proof. There are a number of neat subsets that can be assembled. Trees, Mountains, birds, log cabins and other buildings.

I'm only going for "type" (irrespective of mint marks) and just from what I get in change (so no roll hunting). I'm missing one from most years (only one or two years are complete), and I never did complete the territories set just from change. I had to resort to ebay a couple of months ago for Virgin Islands and American Samoa.

I have been cheating by purchasing the circulating quarters set from the mint every year.

I just got into the ATB coins so I've only got 13 so far. As far as the mint locations,I take what ever I can get which is usually Denver. I get two rolls about every week and one is usually of one park(I have 40 Effigy Mounds coins). The good thing is they are usually uncirculated and straight from the mint. I do enjoy seeing a coin that is fresh from the mint.Good luck to you all.

Looking good there! I am missing a decent number of ATBs from circulation, though like jbuck I have been getting my "not from circulation" quarters from mint sets.

I've been buying the three-piece ATB sets from the mint since the set started; P & D uncirculated with the S clad proof. Here's a link to the current set as an example https://catalog.usmint.gov/frederic...0517&start=1 They are nice sets in nice holders, and some of the P and D coins look almost proof-like, I have all of the (I think) 37 sets that have been released so far. At this point I need to finish all of the series, and I hope they the mint doesn't start another series when this is all done. No idea how many have been made each year.

Very nice! I just purchase the silver proof quarters for my Dansco album for a date/type set and am currently waiting for some of the 2017 stuff to lower in price... Usually prior years I could get for at most $25 for the quarters so I am unsure why prices are $7-10 higher for this year.. I may have missed something...

As per my post above, I just bought two slabbed PF69 silver to add to my theme set. The Alaska Bear and the Kansas Bison. What the heck? These are 90 % silver and the cost of getting it slabbed has to be as much as I paid for the coins at around 12 bucks each shipped. I'll have to look and see if there are any others that grab my eye in the sate and ATB series with 4 legged animals. I think I saw a moose someplace? edit: So I goofed around and made a group of the wild 4 legged animals ( lousy pics ) I have here or on the way. I think I have them all now up to this year from both the series. Wonder what they will come up with that I don't have?
