While I normally do not promote other dealers, I am making an exception in this case.

For readers of CoinWorld and Coinage, you will notice an ad for Jack H. Beymer in just about every issue.

I have dealt with Jack many times over the years, and have always found him to be a man among men. However, at a past show, a customer paid for a coin and actually gave a bit too much. Jack walked the floor until he had found this customer and returned the extra money.

Not many do this. Especially with cash.

He has incredible taste in coins, and has very strict grading standards. You can buy with confidence, raw or slabbed. Now he is "old school" and runs way behind in the technology department, but does offer a mailing that is well worth the time in receiving.

Maybe one day, I can finally talk him into joining the 21st century and this forum

So if you like mail order coins, give him a try, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks, ND. There's dozens of ads for dealers, but there's no means to determine who is honest and principled and who is not. Testimonials such as yours go a long way toward trusting a particular dealer.

ND,

I have known Jack for over 25 years. He started in Santa Rosa back in 1962. He love Barber coinage and is an expert in old copper. Over the years I have had many dealing with Jack. The next time you see him tell him I said hello.

Will do Catman. I will see Jack today.

rggoodie, No website. He is "old school". Technology is not a strong suit for him. He does have email though.

For anyone that wishes, drop him an email to request his mailing. Keep in mind, he actually uses the mail, but I am trying to get him to start an email list.

Jack Beymer: beymerjh@sonic.net

For anyone in the Santa Rosa area, stop by his shop. Coddington Coin Shop, located at 737 Coddington Mall, Santa Rosa, CA.

ND You just described my dealer here in Columbus, Indiana! Through the years he has called or emailed to say he owes me, or my wife, more money after giving a particular coin another "good" look. And, it is not just us as I have seen him treat other people in his shop the same way. If Jack Beymer has those same qualities then dealing with him would be a pleasure and an honor! Will keep his advertisements in mind as I read CW in the future. Your word is as good a reference as any of us will ever need!!!

Thanks, ND. I've found his add in the Jan. issue of Coins Magazine. I'm looking it over right now.

I have purchased several coins from his company over the years and have always been pleased. His raw coins are always fairly graded. He has a good reputation and it is well deserved! Mike

I will second all the good things that have been said related to Jack. He is true to his word in every sense of the term. Purchased a couple of coins back in the mid 80's from him, and they are still some of the better examples in my collection. He knows how to pick um!
