Small Possibily Greece ? Help Needed

tenbobbit Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 701 Posts	Posted 05/22/2017 08:35 am Nothing special, just curious about where it is from as its condition is poor which is stopping me from getting an ID. The Obverse seems to have a countermark which may have caused the Reverse details to be ruined. I have seen similar types but they are all larger, the smallest being called a 1/2 unit. Only 1.22g & 13-14mm Obverse - bust right ( possible countermark ) Reverse - open top wreath As always your help is greatly appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

Some of their mints used AE4 flans in dies meant for AE3's. I have several similar types where there is no obverse legend because it is off-flan. Report this Post to the Staff

The Obverse bust is of a more " greek " type, the closest I can find is from Mysia. Not the same type but the bust is very similar. Report this Post to the Staff
