1976 Ike Dollar Bold Vs Thin Reverse Letters

Texacojoe1 New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 05/22/2017 3:32 pm I bought 29 IKR dollars from a random bank today while searching for half dollar rolls. As I was looking through them I found a 1976 bold letter reverse. As well as some thin letter reverse. Can't recall what one is more collectible. I am keeping them all but want to put aside the better coins. Also hit son 74 D mint. How do I know if they are possible silver planchets. Report this Post to the Staff

I don't recall where I read that though. (There were more demand for the 1976 because of the Bi-Centenial year coins. Report this Post to the Staff

There are supposedly some exceptions that have been found, but I believe they would be considered packaging errors as they were not intended.
