Couldn't decide which of these to post, so here's both. Spain produced some lovely series of notes around this time. Spain 25 & 50 Pesetas 1928

Don't give up yet. It seems that France 10 francs has continuous dates from 1922-1927.
Also consider Netherlands Indies, Czechoslovakia, Spain, and there must be others.

I have 1926, then 2 notes for 1923 and 2 for 1922... I have a 10shillings Fisher note T33 serial you (type originally released in 1927 but I cant be sure from the serial that this specific note was from that specific year)

I have tried 4 times to edit "you" to a single letter as per the serial prefix, what is going on?

Quote: (type originally released in 1927 but I cant be sure from the serial that this specific note was from that specific year) My two main sources say that type was released in 1928 ( here and here). Quote: I have tried 4 times to edit "you" to a single letter as per the serial prefix, what is going on? That probably has to do with some sort of coding in the forum to help with better spelling. For example, if there is a space before China, China is automatically capitalised. "U" would be a common (wrong) spelling of "You," so that is probably why it is automatically corrected. EDIT: Unless you put the "U" in quotation marks. I guess that stops the correction.

Strange that both those sources have it as 1928 when Vincent Duggelby (the standard resource) has it as July 1927.

I think that should count as 1927. At least it is plausible, so can we all agree that it counts as 1927 so then we can go to 1926?

And if it was first released in 1927, I would think that it counts. I mean, the majority of banknotes with dates on them just have their first-issued date anyways, so I see no problem counting this one for 1927.

Well if you are agreed that counts then today must be 1926...
