inherited this coin from a collection of many Italian coins. This is one of the nicest ones, so I was wondering what you all would grade it?

Italian grade: qBB (scratches/hits, but some luster)

Sheldon grade: possibly VF-20? Not too familiar with American grading system...

Pretty common coin. There are two varieties of the 1927 5 lire: one with one star on the edge (*) and one with two (**) wich was minted with planchets manufactured by the Società metallurgica italiana - and not by the mint.

The hair detail pushes me to an italian grade of BB. Not by much though. VF 20 sounds right to me!
