I added a new "Jump to Last Post" link on the forum and active topics page. There is a new one just to the right of the topic title. I think it's a much better location, although I left the old one there too.
Is there a way to jump to the newest post in a thread? Pretty common on most sites but I can't figure out how to do it here. The red circle at the left appears to be the option I'm looking for (hovering over it say "new posts") but when you click on it, it takes you to the first post of the thread. To be clear, I am talking about a thread that you have already visited previously.
Sorry...I'm talking about the newest post for me. Usually with tracking, the forum knows where you left off in the thread and takes you to the last one that you haven't read.
Since this got revived yesterday, I always wished that in my profile where I can see the last 15 Recent Topics I was involved in for any new posts that it would be neat if there was an arrow there too or if it could be set up just to jump to the last post. Instead it goes to the first and then I have to go to last page. No biggie, but this is the way I navigate the forum. When I click on my Logged in as TNG and click on my name link, it takes me there to my profile page.
I can also scroll down and see the View Last 100 New Topics and View Last 100 Active Topics This is the simplest way for me to see what is new at a glance.
