Absolutely insane. 4 minutes and 36 seconds and my bag was empty. I'm not buying a set, period. Let those folks buying 50 sets jack up their prices and try to find 225,000 buyers.

Absolutely ridiculous. I was there at 12:00. Was checking out at 12:01. The site spun and spun with the CC info. I look over to my cart (bag) and it says the item is unavailable and to remove it from my bag.
So annoying...if you've got it in your cart, it should not be removed.
I'm so mad, I am not going to order the other few things I had in my cart. This is a terrible business plan.

As I was walking into the DC Mint watched a guy wheeling out boxes of these after buying 500 sets.

I'm relieved I got mine too.
At 12:08 I received the Mint's "Remind Me" email, which at that point the set was "Currently Unavailable". I'm glad I didn't rely the Mint as a reminder.

I agree, its crazy. What the mint doesn't realize is that they will lose more and more collectors down the road.
second thoughts is wish I had ordered extras for you guys .
in the back of my head I told myself all will get them today that want one.

Problem is you can keep items in your cart for weeks and then change your mind thus the reason for removal when PLACED orders exceed the number available
Remember not all 225k were available for online orders...

I think I got lucky. I logged in early, put a new P puck in my bag and waited for noon. But after refreshing the web page at noon my puck disappeared from my bag\cart. So I grabbed a few of these sets and then I had to go back and grab a puck and add it back into the cart. I hesitated for a couple seconds wondering if I had time to do this before it went "unavailable". I'm glad I was able to get my full order in. USM05203XXX

I still think this is just temporary, but who knows. Having no HH limit was the big wildcard here.
