Great coins and medal @commems! Thanks for posting them.

As a friendly addition to your thread, here is a copper coin minted in 1776 (although not from the US). It is a Duit from Indonesia under the Dutch East Indies. The obv legend is IN DEO EST SPES NOSTRA. Maybe due to higher demand from US-based collectors, I have found that coins dated this specific year tend to go for a slight premium over similar coins that are dated from a year or two earlier or later.
