Yes, I can see that my math was a tad off ... I thought that it sounded high. I just sold a few thousands worth for a friend at the last Expo ... almost all mint crap and 68's. Yes, 12.40 a troy ounce it is and I think that I got $11/dollar but some was sold by weight, not per dollar.
The '71 might sell for a small premium, but the rest are scrap. You can't sell a coin to a book or for any book price .. you have to find a person with a wallet, and the condition of your coins is not very good.
