As a British collector I'd say About VF - there is quite a lot of wear on the Queen's hairlines and her eye is quite poorly defined. It's a very common coin, struck in cupro-nickel. They were heavily used in the 1960s and early 1970s and many vending machines took them. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1980, 9 years after the changeover to decimal currency (they were equal to 2.5 pence in the decimal system). A nice little souvenir and many people used to consider the sixpence a lucky coin, but of no particular numismatic value - I could probably pick out half a dozen EF and AU specimens from my local dealer's 10p tray.

As that coin is a British coin,
you might get more and better answers by putting this
post in the United Kingdom (British) thread.

Maybe a moderator can move it for you.

Agree with NumisRob-I see this kind of coin in my LCS junk bin for 25 cents a pop.
