I had in mind a nice Barber half, my wife had in mind Cancun. I lost. Wife and daughter get on a cruise boat May 7th, I feed pets, enjoy solitude, and eat popcorn.

My last two are "00", and I thnk that is how they like to go when figuring out how to do a number on me, each time. I am not predjudiced against then. Not a bit. I have been fighting them since the first time they screwed me, in '61. They still think it should be "par for the course"!

If I get one I may buy a coin. However, most of it will go to bills.

Instead of buying more coins, I thought I would get something nice for my wife, of 53 years!

Sounds like I am one of the fortunate few that may buy a coin or two.

..........Texas Trader !

Well, I have a tough decision......
bills
debt
food
gas
girlfriend
anniversary with girlfriend on Memorial day in May..
clothes
shoes
new pair of hunting boots too
ammo
MRE's....(someone else mentioned these...i love those ! and I buy by the case.....$85.00 per)
or......last but not least.......some coins........!
I guess I have to figure out my priorities and then my "wants" and go from there !....
The news says most people will spend their money on "gas" and "groceries".....and there will be no choice in the matter ![/[/............

I am hoping I can spend some of it on a coin or two.

However, I will probably just save it like I did the tax refund this year; just in case my wife or kid think they need it!

Believe it or not, we have that part covered! A benefit of waiting so long to have the kid...

But now I have decided that our "rainy-day fund" should be increased by 50%. The kid will eventually need an education, and with my growing disgust of public schools, that expense might come sooner than expected! And don't forget, vacations are going to get a bit more expensive!

So, you can see where this is going!

But I digress... I will have to be content to live vicariously through the purchases of others!

Jbuck......
QUOTE:
"and with my growing disgust of public schools"

My sister has four children and the oldest is 11.....ALL of them are already in private schools or going to be...(the youngest is too little)
Her husband is a doctor (internal medicine)......fairly high up there at the hospital and currently serving a one year term as President.....he was serving a two year term as Chief of Staff and left that to be President. There are about 100 doctors there, so it's an honor for sure......he's only 42 years old !
But anyway.....my point is ........THEY HAVE MONEY ! and private schools aren't cheap.......so that's brillant of you to be looking at that right now for your young one !.......public schools are a disaster and getting worse !.....much kudo's to you for the foresight !
But, don't forget about buying him that 2008 Silver Proof Set !.....
(2008 gold Buffalo ?...just kiddn!)

You didnt get the full 600? Did your tax guy/gal tell you that you would? I know my tax guy said me and the wife would get the full $1200 and I'm banking on that! Now I'm worried :(

Anyways, this refund is now going to a part of my down payment on a new bassboat! YIPPY!!
