Telling the difference between a 1799/8 s-188 and the NC-1 are very hard especially on a coin like this that is worn and also happens to be very worn in the worst possible places (Like the berry left of ribbon which is a key diagnostic part). There are several differences between the reverses of NC-1 and S-188 but that coin has damage on almost all of them. But the leaf clusters above ON and NE have clear distinct stems on NC-1, on S-188 they are pretty much stemless. I don't see any stems on this one.
