That line looks like a lamination error.

Walkallnite, I think that's actually a Retained Interior Die Break. Look at this coin that's very similar to yours on cudsoncoins.com. Here's the link. http://cuds-on-coins.com/Lincoln-ce...r-die-break/ Here's what Mike diamond said about the RIDB-1c-1982-01R on cudsoncoins. "Mike Diamond said the following about the attached images:" "These look like retained interior die breaks. There was some subsurface deformation and the surface metal cracked along the margins of the slightly sunken metal." A keeper for sure.

I know carwash, but that's ok. Sometimes, I typed too slow and the other person beats me. That laugh isn't directed towards you, it's directed towards me.

Walkallnite, you're very welcome. Now you can use that site for Cuds (Involves the rim only), and Interior Dies Breaks. Get that coin into a 2x2 coin flip immediately and mark it as RIDB-1c-1982-01R. See, you learn something new here everyday and that's why people like this website so much. I love this website. It's my favorite.

I know this isn't a modern coin, but I didn't see a die chip thread over there.
