I did a contest recently for the longest persons name on a coin.
How about this time, the longest denomination name on coin.
I will allow the amount to be included in the length.
Where names are abbreviated or local names are used and numbers are used, you can also spell it out in full length English.
ie. Turkish 10 bin lira, you can put as Ten Thousand Lira.
Just to make it interesting points will be ...
1 point for vowels
2 points for consonants
3 points for the letter Y as that can sometimes be used as a vowel.

Have fun.

I'll start off with this one..Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Lira.
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

10 points for vowels
38 points for consonants
3 points for Y,
Total...51 points.

OK the bar is set. Lets see what ya got.

How about this one?
1834 Capped Bust half dollar with lettering on the rim which spells out:
Fifty Cents or Half a Dollar
Should be 40 points
Don't have a picture of the rim but that is what it reads...

Then I found this one
Jersey 1877-H 1/24th shilling
One Twenty-fourth of a Shilling
Should be 44 points if I added right...

I wondered if that be the coin Triggersmob was thinking of myself, I just had to find it...

This next idea is simple, yet could be tricky depending on where the coin was minted or issued...

The vast majority of coins have a denomination somewhere on them, the challenge is to find a coin with NO denomination anywhere on them, and after the year 1750...
Like a Netherlands gold ducat from 1928:

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
A gold coin will score 30 points
A silver coin 20 points
Copper or other lower metals 10 points
Only coins this time...
