1976 Eisenhower dollar Variety 1 - Mintage: 4,019,000  1976 Eisenhower dollar Variety 2 - Mintage: 113,318,000  Same year, different types?, same denomination - 2x base score Different year?, same type - 1x  They have the same KM#, but PCGS calls them Types. However, I (along with the Red Book) calls them Varieties, so I am going to assume 1x score: 113,318,000 divided by 4,019,000 is 28.2 |

This combo coins may not win, but I will play it:  1921 Morgan KM#-110 and Peace dollars KM#-150, 1921-P Morgan: 44,690,000 1921 Peace: 1,006,473 44.69k/1,006,473 about equals 44.4, then 2x equals 88.8...   Oh yeah, 1921 Morgan is VAM-3F3, a hot 50 variety, and the 1921 Peace is VAM-1Z...  Edited by mrwhatisit

jbuck I'm not really sure how to score this. This is similar to a pair I didn't anticipate of same type and year, but different mint. Idk if these types/varieties should be considered similarly to a transitional coin like 1982 cents. The way I envisioned scoring varieties of the same year and type was: total mintage/total mintage = 1. Maybe I can learn something here. Are these known mintages of each variety, or estimated? Quote:

All Variety 2 were struck and released in 1976. I assumed by same year you meant as depicted on the coin. If you intended it be strike year, then my example should by score accordingly. For what it is worth, the only estimated mintage numbers for the entire Ike series are for the 1776-1976 bicentennial 40% silver dollars struck in San Francisco. All are Variety 1; uncirculated (11,000,000) and proof (4,000,000). |

I agree, Dorado has this locked in, so I will post this for participation. 2022 Negro Leagues Baseball Silver Dollar  One on the front (not an effigy, so it might count) and three on the back. Four total. Or three. Does not matter really.  |
