How do these Numista Numbers work? Are they according to when the coin was added to the database?

I believe so. Every new added type bumps the number up by one.

So who is the winner?

triggersmob has the highest number, but does not have his photo.

bd251 has the next highest and included his photo.

AFAICT triggersmob just mentioned the highest possible number rather than the highest actually in his collection?

In other words, bd251 wins unless you want to extend the round. (I'd rather do that, because it's only been three days, but I don't want to force it.)

He did, but he also said this...

My latest would be this one...https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces377164.html

I don't even have it here yet to take the picture.
Released on Monday and a friend has bought it for me,
but I haven't picked it up yet.

I have no problem with an extension. I am about to go offline for the weekend, which means I might miss most of the next round. It gives trig some time to pickup his new coin and snatch the lead proper!

I can get something together tonight. I got a couple of new coins that would be good for a "match the design" type challenge.
