Nice coin Ed. I think I only see 5 sails though, but it doesn't matter, as you're walking the plank so far.

That was a fun format, so I'm going to adapt it to this round

Number of flying things (1 point each). The thing doesn't need to be flying on the coin. I'll let you be a bit creative with what a "flying thing" is.

Bonus multiplier based on the distance from the issuing country to where the coin was minted.
1x if the distance to mint 0 (minted in issuing country)
2x If the distance to mint is less than 10,000 km (6, 210 mi)
3x distance to mint is 10,000 km or more.
- For coins minted outside of the issuing country, try to use the approximate geographic center of the issuing country and the city of the mint. Unless it's really close to 10,000 km it won't make a difference if you use the exact center.

"Adjustment" factor
Number of edges divided by diameter (in centimeters).
For 3- and 4- sided coins, use the shortest edge as the diameter. A round coin will be considered to have 1 side. A round coin with a round hole will have 2.

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
This coin 2 flying things (pelican and flying fish) x 2 (Barbados to Royal Canadian Mint is about 3904 km) x 2.708 (7 sides / 2.585 cm diameter) = 10.83

Highest score wins
I don't have any good flying puns... 3, 2, 1...

Hmmmm. bd251, about 9 hours before you posed the challenge I posted this coin in the "Show your fish" topic.
Barbados 1 Dollar 1973
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
Minted by Royal Mint in London = 6764 km = 2X but slightly larger in diameter @ 2.85 cm.
2 X 2 X 2.456 = 9.825
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Minted in Canberra Australia, this finely presented 1976 COA 50 cent presents with 12 sides, measuring 3.165 cm across the flats and features 3 "flying" elements within it's design.
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
The first is the fauna emblem of the State of South Australia which is a bird, the "Piping Shrike", quite wrongly identified as a Murray Magpie, when in fact it is the Australian Magpie.
Second is the Black Swan, the fauna emblem of the State of Western Australia.
And standing there, larger than life adjacent to the Coat of Arms, the third flying element is not the Emu, which of course is a flightless bird, but it is in fact the Red Kangaroo (Osphranter rufus), being the largest of the marsupial macropods (macro - large, pod - foot). This joins in as the 3rd element as a kangaroo moving at speed is described as being in full flight.
Mint distance = 1
Edges = 12
Diameter (across the flats) = 3.165 cm
Flying elements = 3
1 x 3 x (12 / 3.165) = 11.37
