Both coins are obviously circulated and neither is naturally toned, value = 15 cents.

Whoa, 100$ - that's a friend? save your money. You have the same type, color toning, and in the same area especially on the reverse on 2 different types of coins - very suspicious.

&%$#+\?! NOooooo! Those are clad or cupro coins. There is ABSOLUTELY no premium on those coins, only personal appeal. Your friend has read your eagerness, some friend...
This kind of "toning" is poor storage, environmental damages, they will continue to discolor into an ugly gray/black and possibly bed/black.

thank you all... a friend of mine has a lot of tone coins ... I dont know how he got them but he sells them some times ... I did buy him few before ... I love tone coins but I dont know much about it ...so I guess ,,,its about time to do my reserch and learnd mores about tonning .... hahhaha

As the saying goes; what a friend's good for? neither coins are naturally toned! he must have toned them specially for a toned coin enthusiast  I see finger prints on 59 5c in front of the profile. sorry your 10c is worth 10c ,Nickel is worth 5c = Net $0.15 if you like those type toned coins you can do it yourself, just need practice and patience! |
