No, guys..right now it impossible, even despite clear Canadian connection - many Canadians collect Pokemon cards.
here everything tight up with the licence...

Why do you think, RCM tries to take all the kryptonite from Superman or all the spice melange from the Star Trek? Cause they paid for the multi-years premium classe licence. And the licence is like "All-you-can-eat" place - no one leaves, till be sure, that ate more than paid....

With the barrage of these Superman and Star Trek coins, I've been wondering how much they paid for these licences. Must have been quite high.

It wouldn't have to be $9 or triangle, but a Pokemon coin, I'd have to get one of those for my son.

From what I've read, 2018 will be the 20th year Pokemon has been in Canada.

I still see no news about 2017 Renewed Silver Dollar.

Checked the previous year posts, and noticed, that coin showed up on October 23-th. So probably it will happen right after the weekend.

Thanks for the info, Silveroid. Will start checking tonight.

You welcome, Looney

Wish, it will be something that you like.

Oh, just saw, that you posted my last year check on the other forum.
It is really based on the 2016 info and unfortunately I don't have insider info.
There are some guys on other forum, that have the info, but can't tell this moment.

Surely, many people awaiting to take a look at some of the November release...

And here, actualy day ago, two more new coins could be found at the ebay store of the popular seller.

2018 SML Silver Maple Leaf 30 years Tribute - 2 OZ pure silver

2018 Tree of Life - 1 oz $20 Pure Silver Coin

I am, honestly, not fan of these 2oz 'special' SMLs...but some will like and get.
'Tree of Life' - just another coin.

The 30 years Silver Maple Leaf is my type: a classical design with a subtle touch.

However, I won't buy it if the mintage is more than 6,000.

I have seen a few of the November coins pop up on ebay. I am not very intrigued by offering. I have subscribed to the rose gold big coin series (do not not have any of the other coins and like the penny) so we will see the 25 cent coin released.

Back in the 2015:

Quote:
Few coins have been sold via ebay as Pre-sale.

The prices very promissing for the coin and the sellers.

Item # 141824309924 - CAD 325

Item # 111821042865 - CAD 297

How many you would grab for that price?

So...in the 2017 the day is closer and closer.
Keep your yes and ears open and grab immediately, to avoid disappointment caused by unfair RCM distribution, and obviously low mintage / high demand.

I agree. If I still collected Maple Leaf coins I would be tempted. The explosion in the number of annual ML issues that started a few years ago drove me away from the series, however, so I'll be passing on the new release.
