I would save it. Put it in a sleeve or at least an envelope. Value, I don't know but don't quit your day job I am sure it is more than face value. John1

As a $10, it's a spender for me.

I think it's cool. Maybe, if you get 3 or 4 oddities, you can auction them on ebay for $100. I like numbers with a lot of repeats, like A111176211C. The only way I'll ever find one, though, is if I go in my bank and buy a few stacks.

If it's your first, then keep it. The condition holds it back from any collector value.

It doesn't take a math degree to imagine the thousands of possibilities for such a double quad (?) repeater - hence no premium for these random numbers. To have any value, still minimal, the quads would have to be solid.

Congrats on the find, it's a cool repeater! Here's a link to a useful article on the rarity of fancy serial numbers http://www.coolserialnumbers.com/Ho...lNumbers.pdf . As the author indicates, print runs don't go all the way up to 99999999 and he says he doesn't take this into account. So, if you want to be totally accurate, adjust the rarity numbers for a top serial number of 96000000.
