Very strange looking coin, either badly miss-struck or some type of Barb.

the 2nd picture looks more like a very barbarous fallen horseman than a 1 standard-2 soldiers type, the garbled legend also looks like FEL.

I had noticed that indeed, but because I saw two standing soldiers I thought about the gloria type. Or are there two types of die used here?

The Gloria type was made from 336-342; FEL TEMP from 348-358. Rather than an error, I think this coin was simply over struck, likely unofficially since official overstrikes are usually pretty good at eliminating most of the undertype.

Still one heckuva cool find!
