Found a nice floating roof on the hunt. The right is partially attached on any I've found before.

to the forum!

Cool to find, but they aren't uncommon enough to be considered rare.
Rest in Peace

no premiums of course. Are an interesting find but is really only a result of common die maintenance as a means of increasing life and production. Too much polishing has been known to actually bring on the more catastrophic die failures...that make us coin geeks ssooooooooo HAPPY!

I like the floating roof as a metaphor of the nation in 1969 as the confines were lifting...or something like that;)
Thanks for the welcome. This forum is a great resource!

That's difficult to understand but, it seems demeaning to me. Was that your intention, Dookie? If so, I suggest you abstain from comments like that.

I agree,if the coin was tilted a bit and then the pic was taken it would have shown the attachment.

Looking closer, there is enough still there to keep it from the legit stack. I'm new to the quest, as evidenced by the post count (haha), and often see mirages of cents I've read about. Thanks again for providing this resource site.
