I save all cents. I save all nickels. I save dimes but usually only keep of them for what I need for my set. The other dimes I spend but the cents and nickels I keep. Even the zinc copper plated ones are now worth more than face value. I think that we will either end up with a copper plated steel cent or even just no cent at all. That is why I save them, plus its just fun to do.
