GDAY to all I'm CHICKO #9786;

I'm new here and new to collecting coins its quite interesting ive aquired alot of American qaurter dollars/ dimes/Lincoln cents and the 5 cent pieces years ranging from 60's through to 2013 was wondering if anybody knows of anyone trustworthy and with knowledge here in ADELAIDE AUS to look at some of these coins and can point me in the right direction.

Hello and welcome.

I'm not seeing any error on that American cent, unless it's slightly off-centre?

Your unknown item is a good luck charm. The presence of a swastika on it (stamped into the bottom of the horseshoe) clearly dates it to prior to WWII (probably the 1920s), when the swastika was commonly found on good luck items.

I think it is what they call a hobo cent. The design was altered to look like what you are looking at. It is probably more of a work of art. Check Hobo Nickels on the net and see what you can find out.
