Once again, @echizento has lured me into purchasing a coin made prior to the middle ages.

In this case, Ron's recent post ( http://goccf.com/t/268494) convinced me that I should have a so-called bottle cap in my collection too. It is also from Seleukos IV Philopator (187 to 175 BC), but features a bust of Dionysos on the obv and a prow of a galley on the rev. This coin is attributed as SC 1316 and came from the Kenneth Miller Collection of Ake-Ptolemaļs and Related Biblical Coins.

Thanks for the other reference Ron--I probably ought to get Seaby's classic book if I'm going to buy too many of these Greek coins.
