Quote: Here is a recent conder token pickup. Portsmouth halfpenny token commemorating the British victory at the Battle of St. Vincent against the Spanish. Outstanding!

Quote: I just happened to have one -- also from Portsmouth -- celebrating the same Valentine's Day battle, but from a different angle! Excellent!

Two recent acquisitions for which I created listings on tokencatalog: New Iberia LA: Lamperez Bakery - Good for ˘ 10 ˘ In Bread. 26 mm; octagonal; aluminum; Crawford-Farber unlisted. I was psyched to snag this one, as that is the town where I grew up. Avoca Island LA: Avoca Store 1918 - Let Bearer Have $1.00 In MDSE. 35 mm; round; brass; Crawford-Farber 492 B100 (R8)

I found this guy out metal detecting last fall. In Montana of all places. I think it is a NYC subway token from the 70s. It isn't quite as cool as a lot of these tokens I am seeing on here. But I was pretty delighted to find it haha.

Daltonista, the token is awesome, I love the battle scene! I'm going to keep an eye out for one of those! Here is a recent medal I picked up, it is the largest thing in my collection at just over 80 mm. Cool table medal (it is almost large enough to have dinner on) commemorating Germanys 50th Infantry Division and some of the battles they fought in during WWI.
