The condition of the coins inside would be entirely dependent on where it has been stored the past 50 years (relative to humidity)... The only thing to hope for would be a strike with early dies (ultra heavy cameo) which garner a nice premium.

some 1967 specimen sets contain coins that have less than ideal eye appeal. In my experience I would say more than half of the 67 SP sets I've had were not attractive. Lots of spots and unattractive toning.
