Here in the UK our oldest circulating coins are the 1p and 2p from 1971. There is no chance of getting silver - the most exciting finds are some of the scarcer commemoratives and there could be a small chance of getting a NIFC coin. In the Eurozone all pre-Euro coins have been demonetised, so basically everything in circulation dates from 2002 or later, although some countries struck Euro denominations dated 1999, 2000 and 2001. But I suppose Eurozone collectors do have quite a few rarities to look out for, such as the Monaco and Vatican coins and some of the 2-euro commemoratives! JBU New Member Canada 48 Posts	Posted 12/28/2017 7:39 pm I picked up a box of nickels in Brampton, Ontario. Each of the coin rolls was either 1 or 2 nickels short! Anyway, the entire box contained "used" nickels and yet there was very little exciting going on and nothing much to report regarding finds... I probably lost $2.50 - $5.00 just in rolling each roll back up to the required amount... Report this Post to the Staff
