Perhaps it could be crystallized silver, harshly over-cleaned? I am leaning toward genuine, but I'm far from an expert on Celtic coins. And good thinking with the Indian fanam, but those coins are much smaller, only about 8-10mm across, and also made of gold. Report this Post to the Staff
