coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/04/2018 5:18 pm Probably a sliver of metal chipped away from the die. Left a void and now is raised on the fields of coin struck. Possibly the die was too brittle. Note how there is no die flow lines like you would expect on a later die state when chips form? Possibly the die didn't last long if that is the case. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/13/2018 12:11 pm Something may have fallen on the die. It looks like two slivered chips may have came off the die. (the field would be raised and the edge of the building would be lower into the die and not affected) So it may have chipped off a couple of metal slivers. Report this Post to the Staff
