One of the coins from a recent auction house lot - honestly no idea where to even start looking for an ID on this one? Cruised through the Wildwinds celtic pages, and nothing really close to this style.

AR or BI "drachm", 17mm, 0.97g
Crude laureate head right
"Male" (immature chuckle) figure standing, facing, noodly arms. Gibberish legend like NNMO-

Interesting-Celtic/Barbarian-Piece

Style has me led to believe somewhere in East Europe, but this is uncharacteristically light and seemingly debased - the Eastern Celts tended to strike coins of respectable weight and fineness, but in crude, artistically lacking designs. This has more in line with later barbarous radiates than anything, but I am fairly confident it's silver.

Any ideas?

Certainly an unusual looking thing Steve.
Does it make any more sense if you flip the Reverse 180 ?
Maybe a Cornucopia between Priestly implements, a very abstract attempt at a Tetricus ii coin
That does seem a little far fetched though so maybe your initial thoughts ( celtic ) are where it belongs.

Maybe a Dacian imitation of a denarius?

These are by no means perfect matches but similar style
