I last updated the document in 2008 so there may be slight changes in some. Even when using one of their cash exchange forms and they would insist on wanting my business account number so they could write it on the back! A few months ago, at my branch, they got rid of the tellers and put in machines ... now I just go to the coin machine and get what I want, when I want! I use the change dispensing machines exclusively these days but back when I used to talk to tellers they were always fine about. Some of the new what I was doing and were supportive if anything. The places I go to know that I am a collector, and are generally supportive. I have been told that they do prefer it if you order them a few days in advance (ahead of them placing their orders) then you can stipulate if you want them loose, in the small bags, or in rolls. Rolls are my last choice as I hate the damage they create on the outer coins. The tellers sometimes ask if I have found anything... I have even brought in a coin or two to show them.
