Nice! We are technically on the decade of the 350s today, but I'll be posting a catch-up coin from the 360s later in the afternoon.

Magnentius A.D. 350-3 22x24mm 4.5g DN MAGNEN-TIVS PF AVG; bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right; A behind bust. VICTORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAES; two Victories holding wreath inscribed with VOT V MVLT X. In ex. SPAR RIC VIII Arles 167 This Magnentius is from the collection of Daniel Turner (1794- 1850) who was a War of 1812 veteran. At the age of 14, Turner started his Navy career. In 1813, he was promoted to Lieutenant and joined Oliver Perry's squadron and commanded the brig Caledonia in the Battle of Lake Erie. On September 10, 1813, Turner's suppressive fire for Perry's flagship Lawrence was so impressive and effective, that he earned a Congressional medal and a sword from the State of New York. He eventually commanded the USS Constitution in 1839 and served in the Navy until his sudden death in 1850. His collection, which included 292 Ancient Greek, Roman, medieval, and Islamic coins, stayed in his family until it was sold at auction in 2015. https://ussconstitutionmuseum.org/c...niel-turner/his handwritten description is pictured The mintmark SPAR, coincidentally, is also a Navy term for a pole used to support the sail or a type of deck-- spar deck. Magnentius A.D. 350- 3 22mm 4.8gm D N MAGNEN-TIVS PF AVG; bare headed, draped and cuirassed, A behind bust. GLORIA ROMANORVM; Magnentius on horseback spearing barbarian; L in left field, star in right. In ex. SAR RIC VIII Arles -- The mintmark is [P or S]AR , with the workshop not fully struck due to a weak strike or clogged die. It is not listed in RIC or Ferrando, though Ferrando does have a similar coin (#1266), SAR with L in left field, only missing the star in right field.

Really cool provenance @vic! Slipping back to the 360s for one minute, here is an AE Follis of Julian II. It was minted between 360 and 363 AD likely at Heraclea:

Here is a Drachm from the Western Satraps that is dated 274 in the Saka Era (which corresponds to 352 AD). It was issued under the authority of King Rudrasena III.

Welcome to the decade of the 340s! I suspect that as we are now getting deeper into the Roman Empire, we will see plenty of contributions, but here is one to get us started: a Follis of Constantine I dating to 347/8 AD:
