Pysanka is available at TSC with 4 easy pays. Looks like no limit. Perhaps get 3% cashback too.

I can't remember a third coin in a series that has held value, even rarely the second coin holds value

This is very interesting, alex.

Thank you for updating.

take a look at this:

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:
Composition: 99.99% fine silver
Mintage: W.S.L.
Weight (g)*: 15.87
Diameter (mm): 34
Face Value: $10
Finish: Specimen
Edge: Serrated
Artist: Celia Godkin
Packaging: Folder with removable capsule

So the RCM decided to put this coin to some folder? and looks like the price raised from CAD 29.95 .....

Added:
I checked again - the design idea actually very close to 2016 coin.

I still will get it, from the PO.

@Silveroid, just noticed the "launch date" on the Gatewest page says February 15, 2018. There are already a couple listed on ebay.

Why did the packaging change? RCM tried something similar in 2012 with a paper sleeve (high mintage) and those are now often available for close to BV.

Just FYI, regarding the new $10 ML coin: The two ebay listings specify a 1/4 ounce coin while Gatewest states 1/2 ounce.

If you zoom in on the folder in one of the ebay listings, you'll see that it states the coin's weight as 15.87 grams (just over a half ounce). I'd believe the RCM's packaging before the ebay seller listings.

Thank you ,Commems , fo update.

The GW set a price of CAD 35 - this is typical "entry" price for basic RCM 1/2oz coin, so I 99% sure that it old good "Maple Leaf Forever" coin, just different packaging.

Looks like Pysanka Coin "gains RPMs"..

A lot of sellers, while Coin.4.Fun and Mario are ahead.
Their listings show sold numbers 35 and 55, and probably they have sold even more.

I've noticed that the asking price for the first, 2016 coin is CAD 700+ ... this is a lot for 1 oz coin

Looks like the Maple Leaf Forever style Silveroid, with
lined field and reverse proof (Specimen style) features, no
mintage (WSL While Supplies Last) and packaged on a card.
34 mm, $10 denomination, just over 1/2 ounce.

You right, SilverDon.

If I remember correctly, the first one, 2011 also was Specimen finish.

In anyway, I wait for the moment, when this simple coin will go to our 12-slot RCM case (if you still filling it up with 1/2oz'ers)

So...the new week came, and collectors' wallets became lighter.

As reported on other forum:

The Coin Shoppe soldout 2018 Pysanka coin

The Gatewest soldout 2018 Pysanka coin

People take this coin very seriously. Prepared to be the hit.
Even "Up-side-down Pysanka" coin aka "Hot Air Baloon" didn't spoil the Pysanka series.

From other hand, not much interest in the "Apple Blossom".... well, apple - it just an apple.

Like the old saying, even a blind cat catches a mouse sometimes, you crank out a coin a day eventually you get one right. I still stand by the comment have not seen a second or third coin in a series hold value, but always buy what you like.

I always say the similar.

However, few exceptions exist - when people bought Mongolian Ural Owl coin for a CAD 1000+ and Hedgehog for CAD 500+ (second and third coins).
But was curious enough, just to take a look on the sold listings for these coins....what I saw there is OMG.

I was kind of referring to RCM coins, but if you include world wide mints, the odds are even worst

Exactly. I wasn't clear in my post.
But OMG = coin sold for CAD 54 (in the 2012 was CAD 500)
It refers to all the NCLT.
Buy and keep it if you like it. Sooner or later will worth bit about the melt.
