GregAlex Pillar of the Community United States 822 Posts	Posted 07/03/2021 2:22 pm Back on the first page of this thread, I mentioned Federated Bank Note Company, which was a subsidiary of London-based De La Rue Banknote Co. Federated was established in Philadelphia with an eye to luring security printing business away from the larger banknote companies. Apparently that didn't happen, and the company seems to have dried up by the 1980s. Federated is the only company I've seen that printed the dates on their specimen certificates.
