Suggestion On Photographing Coins In Airtight Holders

einstem Valued Member United States 314 Posts	Posted 01/27/2018 07:31 am All, I have a lot of my collection in Airtight holders, but want to now start to photograph them using a USB Microscope. Any suggestions/hints/lessons learned by anyone on the best way to photograph them without taking them out of the Airtight holders? What is the best way to set-up the USB and the lighting to get good clarity and no reflections. Thanks. Michael Report this Post to the Staff

einstem Valued Member United States 314 Posts	Posted 01/27/2018 09:43 am Ok.. thanks for the advice. I love the protection of airtights, but getting them open is a pain.. And I have a bunch in a CAPS album, so getting them out of there is also a whole additional step. Wish I had photographed them all before hand, but live and learn...
