The size of this thing is odd. It is 3/8 inch wide, but it is so small that I can't get it on my little finger. I know it's plated, but it's my first gold ring so I'm excited.

I don't know if the markings mean anything special so let me know if they do. it reads 18K G E and then an A with a circle around it. I know the 18K part, but does the rest mean anything?

Here's a pic.

"18K G E and then an A with a circle around it"

Okay, sorry but:
it is actually: 18K GF (the bottom is a scratch or mark of some sort) meaning 18K gold filled, a polite way of saying plated.

the A with a circle is the manufacturer's mark.
