I think this fits into this new sub-forum. I spied this book on ebay and decided to add it to my collection of county related items.

From the pictures in the listing, the first 17 warrants were issued. Number 18 is only partially filled out; looks like the treasurer received a new warrant book and this was set aside as obsolete.

Below are the seller's pictures--I ran them through the optimizer to reduce the file size.

Historical documents give us to a taste of those past eras. Nice. I hope you consider your local historical society as a final stop on this items trip.

Mox, I think eventually this along with other items I own will end up at the county museum--if it is still around when I kick the bucket.

Thanks for posting this Meadowview! I love little county historical museums. I've found all kinds of unusual financial items in places like that.
