My favourite type of animal is the bat. Not many coins seem to have bats on them, but here are two of mine that I have pictures of.  A Fijian 10 cent piece from 2012:  And a Polish 2 zlote piece from 2010:  |

Animals are very popular on Aussie coins! For those not accustomed to some our unique fauna they are: 1c - feather tailed glider 2c - frill necked lizard 5c - echidna 10c - lyrebird 20c - platypus 50c - kangaroo & emu (coat of arms) $1 - mob of roos  Edited by coaster

Two coins from the Bahamas. Both have the obverse of the Bahama Coat of Arms which contain a marlin, a flamingo and a Conch. Reverse on the 1 cent is The Bahama Starfish Reverse of the 10 cent are two Bonefish     |
