Well done to the OP for the continued examples of lovely circulated classic silver commemorative - these are not easy to find and, in fact, are a very challenging pursuit requiring significant dedication and perseverance.

To secondnomore ... I say the following;

I also have zero expectation of finding a Hawaiian or a Spanish Trail like this LOL.

Welcome to the pursuit ... we collectively would enjoy any contributions you can make for new coins ... and most importantly - based on your quoted words above -

Never give up the hope, and pursuit, of those coins which fire your collecting passions ... and my hope for you is that you find the perfect circulation cameo of both of them.

I see that I might be slightly misusing the term "cameo" according to some posts... I really meant that I like these worn down to such a state that surface details of the devices are just ghostly outlines without detail. I wasn't referring to the level of contrast between the devices and the field. I know in proofs that there is a premium attached to high contrast at certain lighting angles which makes the devices really stand out.

I wish I COULD post pictures!

A lot of the ones I see in here would grade higher than what I am referring to. Some are harder to find than others in really low grades... I haven't found "my" Columbian yet but I am looking. That Iowa has fair detail left. Not really a fan of field toning like that one has. I don't understand how some get darker in the fields than others, I have thought of it as coming from a "dirtier" environment, like a pocket piece owned by a railroad guy or an industrial worker... but that may not be the case.

Just getting started good in this area!

Apologies for being MIA, I just haven't had a lot of success downgrading my set and it was a hectic last few months at work.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!

I found a circ cameo Vermont that will likely take the show spot, and my other to page 2 (duplicates). I picked up a couple of well worn Columbians since no one wanted them for $5 (melt) each. Hard to say no - it is a disease. And lastly an AG Stone Mtn circ cameo duplicate that I move back and forth with my current G4, because the coins on either side of the G4 match better.

Pitiful left brain trying to be creative ha!

Nice additions - pleased to see that you are still active in the market for these treasured coins.

I concur with AG03 for the Stone Mountain. What would you say to VG08/VG10 for the Vermont?

Thank you for the kind words!
Exactly what I was thinking on the VT as well.

New downgrade for the set and some updated images.

Apologies on the photography - used my cell phone vs the Microtek, so some uneven lighting and distortion, particularly on the reverse shots (the airtights do slip against gravity somewhat when the CAPS page is upside down. Some actually fall out of their slot.)

All surfaces appear original to me. The reverse blemish on the Maine bothers me a tad, so I'm kinda sorta lookin for another... maybe.

Page 1 is my main focus. Grant* and Missouri 2x4 will have to blow my socks off to peel labels and move everything.

Row 1 is net FR2-AG3 for all coins now with the new Lincoln
Row 2 is net AG3-G4 for all coins now with the new 1921 Pilgrim
Not going for any particular grades, just worked out that way

Page 3 contains my duplicates - the Columbians were obtained for melt value, meaning I win only about 1 out of 10 bid on.

Also, coins I have cracked out and then found another coin that might match better appear there. Ugh. Sometimes I move them back and forth, especially the Sesqui.

Re: the hole on page 1, I do have a Missouri in G6 courtesy a fellow board member, but I haven't cracked it, because I know as soon as I do, another one will come along. This is what happened with the Sesqui and 1921 Pilgrim. When I get into another down cycle, I'll probably get impatient and crack it.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of my old VF25 which trickled its way to Heritage not long before I got the itch again, there's a bounty I'll pay.

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy. You can click on the image for a closer view, if you dare.

I'm still looking for a Bay Bridge (page 2) as my only 'required' coin - the rest are all gravy. I have a Texas as well.
