Oh my! That's an unbelievable example of that die! The separation on the 7 is absent of any hits and just pops. Thanks for sharing! I found a somewhat beat up example in change a couple years back. Man I wish it looked like that one. Well done!

Thanks all! Yeah, nice looking date and it was quite a deal to figure out how to light it to show as many of the notches and separation lines as possible in one image.

You have to show me your secrets, man! Do you pick up rolls off of ebay, or do you go through rolls you've kept for years?

I buy all the rolls I go through, as I have no big hoard of the things around here. Other than the rising stack of rolls I've gone through which I really need to sell off. I don't pull any coins for high grade so there are some nice coins in there for folks who collect things I do not and thus I generally sell to folks who are grade hunters not error/variety hunters. But no matter how you slice it B/U rolls for modern coins are pretty darn cheap and the whole thing about breaks even if you can sell them off for about what you buy them for. Note that if you sell and/or buy on ebay you will hear the big sucking sound of money going away on shipping charges, so you have to take that into consideration. ebay may be the easiest way to find rolls, but it is certainly the most expensive way to get them by far.
