with Mark. If I remember correctly, a true DDO will not effect the mint mark.

There are a few RARE cases where there are RPMs along with a DDR or DDO, but these are well documented and easily identified as such. The 1961D is NOT one of the years for a dual listing.

Great point TooTall, and that is true for cents before 1990. This looks to be a nice example of MD.

It can most definitely happen that a coin is a DDO and RPM. This one however, shows identical MD between the date and mintmark. It all happened at once with a swipe of the die.
