Oh my, save your money. What do you see that makes this worth spending all that money to get it graded?
EDIT - do you think this is on a dime planchet?

Yep, nothing here worth the grading fees unless you see something we can't from these pics.

In my opinion, the coin is MS, but it won't get a grade of 70 and that's the only reason I could think of to send it in for grading. It's a nice coin -- really nice, but there are some dings on it and it won't get a 70. Good pics.

Yeah, I can see they are good pics - good enough to see the completely worn flat steps - a "spend" grade coin - that is all!

to the CCF My honest opinion ... save your money and move on. This coin is common in the grade you have shown ... nothing special about it ... and not worthy of the expenses for a TPG opinion and slab.

Do NOT send this in for grading. Just a common AU nickel.

@akaterri, first welcome to CCF. Second, as you read through the prior responses, I hope that you see that we are pretty well aligned that your coin, while nice, is not worth the money needed to get it slabbed. As others have mentioned, better to save your money for something special. I hope that we will see you post that special item here in the future.

to CCF akaterri. As the other have already said,it is nowhere near a high enough grade to justify the costs involved to have it slabbed. As a general rule,a coin needs to have a retail value of at least $150 to be worth the slabbing fees. Also,in your future post please crop pics before posting please. John1
