Quote: Here's an attractive trio issued by Horn (Lippe) commemorating the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest. Very nice!

Staying with a martial theme, here's a pair of notes issued by Steinfeld. What I find jarring about these is, given that memories of the horrors of the Great War ought to have been still very fresh, soldiers of both sides are being depicted in a very positive, really rather idealistic and nostalgic way.

Here's a note issued by Braunschweig that I suppose is expressing something wry, but the German's too colloquial for me to properly translate.

This set of six issued by Eschershausen constitute further examples of Franz Jüttner's artwork.

@LuckyCuss - I think that is all the FJ pieces now, that we have covered off. Please let me know if you do indeed find anymore.............? Thanks in advance. It would be great to add to the FJ listing!!

This note issued by Thale-Harz depicting a coven is in its subject matter and style very much like many notgeld illustrations done by Franz Jüttner, but it's apparently the work of another artist (albeit perhaps a deliberate imitation).

Here's a duo that would fall into the "idyllic scene" category. The uppermost was issued by Rehmen, the other by Dömitz.
