einstem Valued Member United States 314 Posts	Posted 03/21/2018 11:00 pm I'm finishing up a Jefferson set myself, and agree with the above comments as well. Not a proof, but a nice 1938P coin. Still a bit of detail in the hair on obverse, and can make out the pillars and windows of Monticello on the Reverse, so would probably put it as AU53. I try to use the Photgrade guidebook, which provides not only photos, but specific things to look for on each coin (areas to look for detail/wear, etc.). But I probably grade more "wrong" then "right" still... But a nice Jefferson indeed. I think they are an overlooked series, especially for the earlier dates.
